Tinubu Emerges Winner in Jigawa with 421,390 Votes in #NigeriaElections2023

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, emerged as the winner in the recently concluded presidential election in Jigawa State with 421,390 votes, while the former vice president and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, came second with 386,587 votes.

According to the collation officer for the 2023 presidential election in Jigawa State, Professor Arma-Ya’u Hamisu Bichi of the Federal University Dutsinma, Katsina State, the election was conducted peacefully, and the candidates received the following votes.

The collation officer, Professor Bichi, provided further details, stating that there were 2,341,441 registered votes, with 961,670 votes accredited, and a total of 954,805 votes cast.

Professor Bichi then announced the scores by each party: APC received 421,390 votes, LP received 1,889 votes, NNPP received 98,234 votes, and PDP received 386,587 votes.

He subsequently declared the total valid votes as 920,531, with the remaining votes being rejected.
