A harrowing incident unfolded on Wednesday morning in Lagos State as a two-storey building at number 12 Cameroun Street, off Ewenla in Mushin collapsed amidst a heavy downpour. The collapse, which occurred around 10 am, resulted in the rescue of seven occupants, including a one-year-old baby girl.

Emergency responders swiftly mobilized to the scene, including teams from the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Lagos State Building Control Agency, and the Police. Their immediate response facilitated the rescue operation and ensured that the victims were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
