Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially released his highly anticipated fifth studio album titled “5ive”, marking another milestone in his illustrious career.

The 17-track project showcases Davido’s signature versatility and global appeal, with collaborations spanning across international and local heavyweights including Chris Brown, Omah Lay, Victony, Becky G, Shensea, and more.

Ahead of the album’s release, Davido teased fans with a series of singles, including “Be There Still,” “Funds”—which features Odumodublvck and Chike—as well as “Awuke” featuring YG Marley.

Each song offers a unique soundscape, blending genres and cultures. On “Funds,” Davido brings his characteristic energy, complemented by Odumodublvck’s raw grit and Chike’s soulful vocals. “Titanium” with Chris Brown reflects on emotional resilience in a relationship, while “Offa Me”, featuring Victoria Monét, delves into sensual desire. The track “Nuttin Dey” sees Davido asserting his confidence and reaffirming his place in the global music scene.

“5ive” comes two years after the release of “Timeless,” his 2023 album that topped Billboard’s World Albums Chart and solidified his position as one of Africa’s most influential musical exports.
