Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie is aiming to win the Women’s Super League (WSL) Golden Glove award in her debut season with Brighton, DAILY POST reports.
Nnadozie, who joined Brighton on a free transfer last summer, has impressed with consistent performances between the posts, keeping six clean sheets in 18 league appearances so far this campaign.
The 24-year-old is currently just behind Ayaka Yamashita, Hannah Hampton, and Phallon Tullis-Joyce, all of whom have recorded seven clean sheets this season.
Her strong form has also earned her individual recognition, with the Nigerian international winning the WSL Save of the Month award twice during the season.
Beyond personal accolades, Nnadozie is also focused on helping Brighton secure silverware. The club are set to face Liverpool in the Women’s FA Cup semi-final, a match she sees as a key opportunity to reach her first major final with the Seagulls.
Brighton will take on Liverpool at the BrewDog Stadium this weekend as they continue their push for a historic cup run.
