Former Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has reaffirmed her dedication to serving Nigeria and contributing to its progress, despite being relieved of her ministerial duties. In a letter of appreciation to President Tinubu, Ohanenye expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve as Minister. She described the role as an honor and privilege, noting that contributing to Nigeria’s development was a deeply rewarding experience.
“I write to express my sincere gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the extraordinary opportunity to serve as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It has been an honor and a privilege to contribute to the development of our nation,” Ohanenye stated.
She also acknowledged the support of First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, whose guidance she credited for much of her success during her tenure. Ohanenye extended her thanks to the Nigerian people, whose trust and support she found inspirational, promising to continue serving the country to the best of her abilities.
With her tenure as Minister concluded, Ohanenye remains committed to contributing to Nigeria’s progress and prosperity, continuing her work in the interest of the nation.
