In a recent interview on Beat 99.9 FM, popular singer Tiwa Savage shared an intriguing observation: she receives advances from women more often than from men. The 44-year-old hitmaker expressed her surprise at this trend, saying, “I do not know why, but a lot more women hit on me more than men. I do not know why.”

During the interview, Tiwa also addressed ongoing discussions regarding her standing in the Afrobeats scene, where Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido are often referred to as the ‘big 3.’ With confidence, she asserted her belief in her own talent and stage presence, stating, “If we were to go talent for talent, mic for mic, I am the big one. If we take off the numbers, whatever it is you want to judge the big 3, you cannot see me on the mic. I am sorry, but that is what it is.”

Savage’s bold claims highlight her determination to carve out her own space in the competitive music industry, emphasizing that talent should be the primary measure of success.
