The Lagos State Police Command reveals a plot by certain groups to cause violence in some areas of the state due to the scarcity of new naira notes.

The police have issued a warning to groups, saying they will face the consequences of the law if they continue with their planned acts of violence. This warning was given in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos Command, Benjamin Hundeyin.

The statement reassures residents and visitors that they can carry on with their activities without fear, as the police and other security agencies are conducting confidence-building patrols in the area.
