The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ude Okoye, alongside other party chieftains, has visited Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, urging him to reconsider his recent resignation from the party.

A statement issued on Wednesday by Gbenga Ogunleye, Adediran’s spokesman, confirmed the visit, which took place at the former PDP governorship candidate’s Abuja office.

The visit comes barely 48 hours after Adediran announced his departure from the PDP, citing betrayal and lack of discipline within the party. His decision also saw him exit with his supporters across Lagos State’s 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).

The PDP delegation, which included former National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbondiyan and ex-House of Representatives member Shina Peller, acknowledged Adediran’s grievances but urged him to return to the party and reconsider his stance.

While expressing gratitude for their support, Adediran assured them of his willingness to collaborate with political allies, despite differences in party affiliation.

On Monday, Adediran stated that his next political move would be revealed in the coming months.
