GlobalMentorBridge is set to host the “Beyond Ideas” summit on August 3, 2024, at the Landmark Centre in Lagos. This pivotal event will gather business leaders, entrepreneurs, and startups for an enriching day of knowledge exchange, networking, and mentorship.
The summit will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers. Ifeoma Malo, CEO and Co-founder of Clean Technology Hub, will discuss strategies for attracting and nurturing top talents. Don Ebubeogu, CEO/MD of Tiger Foods, will focus on the role of mentorship in fostering collaboration and innovation. Abimbola Adebakin, Founder and CEO of Advantage Health Africa, will share her insights on leading her organization. Other notable speakers include Babatunde Akin-Moses, Co-founder and CEO of Sycamore NG, who will explore mentoring across sectors; Dr. Clement Obadimu, CEO and Principal Partner at Mentor Tower, addressing mentoring and reverse mentoring in growth; and Mrs. Modupe Ehirim, CEO and Principal Partner at MOE Advisory Ltd, who will discuss the impact of mentoring on family life.
Shehu Zubairu, Senior Partner at Human Capital Partners, will talk about organizational and personal growth, while Mayowa Adeosun, Co-founder and COO of Sycamore NG, will delve into decision-making and change management. Dr. Tochukwu MacFoy, Founder of Energize Africa, will provide insights on staying ahead of industry-specific knowledge and technologies, and Regis Ohia, CEO of Varosi Real Estate Group, will focus on gaining a competitive advantage in the real estate sector.
This year’s summit has attracted collaborations with various Nigerian businesses, startups, and international partners, including Al-Hussein Technical University in Amman, Jordan. In June, GlobalMentorBridge held a successful summit in Jordan in partnership with the University, where Dr. Ismail Hinti, President of the University, was a keynote speaker, alongside notable business leaders from the Middle East and the United States. That event reached approximately 1.1 million people through both in-person and online channels.
