Eccentric Services Ltd has renewed its advocacy for smart investing and structured financial planning, encouraging Nigerians to embrace wealth-building strategies through regulated capital market instruments.
The organisation said it remains focused on promoting financial education that empowers individuals and businesses to make informed decisions capable of improving long-term financial security.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company, James Efe, stated that financial illiteracy continues to be a major challenge limiting wealth creation across the country.
According to him, many Nigerians still depend entirely on salaries and unstable business income without exploring investment opportunities that can provide additional financial stability.
Efe explained that his journey into investment education was influenced by his personal experiences as a poultry business operator and consultant.
He revealed that rising operational costs, inflation, and increasing feed prices made it difficult for small businesses to remain profitable.
According to him, although the business generated revenue, most of the income was absorbed by expenses, leaving limited financial growth opportunities.
At the same time, his investments in treasury bills and equities delivered more stable returns, strengthening his interest in financial markets.
“That experience showed me that structured investing is essential for building sustainable wealth,” he said.
Efe disclosed that he is currently pursuing advanced studies in Wealth Management at the New York Institute of Finance.
He explained that the company was created to bridge Nigeria’s financial literacy gap and provide accessible investment education.
The firm currently offers services including stock market training, brokerage account setup, liquidity planning, dividend recovery, share recovery, swing trading, and asset allocation advisory.
According to Efe, proper financial planning enables investors to reduce risk exposure while improving long-term returns.
He stressed that many Nigerians continue to underestimate the long-term impact of inflation on idle savings.
The CEO also highlighted distrust from past fraudulent investment schemes as a major obstacle to financial participation.
Despite this, he maintained that regulated financial instruments remain reliable pathways for wealth creation when properly understood and managed.
Efe encouraged Nigerians to adopt disciplined saving habits and consistent investment practices.
Since 2024, Eccentric Services Ltd said it has trained more than 1,000 investors and built an active network of over 500 participants.
The company also reported over 50 successful dividend and share recovery cases.
Efe emphasized that financial education is key to economic empowerment and national development.
According to him, wealth creation requires discipline, patience, strategic thinking, and long-term planning.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to expanding financial literacy and helping Nigerians build sustainable wealth through capital market participation.
