The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released postings for the 2025 Batch A Stream I prospective corps members (PCMs), with a strong advisory to adhere strictly to new entry protocols and safety guidelines.
In a series of posts on its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, the NYSC emphasized the importance of printing and signing the addendum document from each PCM’s dashboard. The document, it stated, is critical for successful registration at the various orientation camps and may be required for verification.
“The addendum is crucial for registration and to avoid potential service disruptions. Some camps may require it for verification,” the NYSC noted.
The addendum is typically available on the NYSC portal after a PCM completes their online registration.
In a related update, the NYSC disclosed that due to capacity constraints, some corps members originally posted to Lagos will undertake their orientation in camps located in Ogun, Ondo, and Osun states. Similarly, PCMs deployed to Abuja may be posted to camps in Nasarawa and Kaduna for their three-week orientation course.
The agency also issued a safety advisory to all PCMs, urging them to avoid traveling at night when heading to their respective camps.
“The 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream I deployment has been released. PCMs are advised not to travel at night to the orientation camp,” it stated.
The NYSC has continued to make adjustments in its deployment strategy to address logistical challenges and improve the experience of corps members across the country.
As the orientation course kicks off in the coming days, prospective corps members are encouraged to check their dashboards promptly, print out necessary documents, and comply with all safety and registration requirements.
