Lagos, Nigeria — A farming trip turned tragic for a man identified as Jesuyon after his wife, Abosede, drowned when a canoe they boarded capsized in the Erekiti River in the Epe area of Lagos State.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday, March 30, 2025, as Jesuyon, his 25-year-old wife, and her 17-year-old sister, Mary, were returning from their farm.
