Lagos, November 21, 2024 – The Maman Avia Initiative hosted a groundbreaking Avi-Day 2024 event today at Lagos’ Sheba Centre, sparking discussions and enthusiasm around youth empowerment in the aviation industry.

Under the theme “Wings Unclipped: Is There Hope for the Next Generation?”, the event delivered a powerful message of inclusion and innovation, attracting industry leaders, aspiring aviators, and stakeholders.

Keynote addresses by aviation experts set the tone, while interactive exhibits offered hands-on insights into the sector. The event also featured the highly anticipated 4th edition of the Miss Aviation Nigeria competition, highlighting beauty and brains in the aviation space.

Convener Ololade Adenekan urged immediate action to secure the future of Nigerian youth in aviation, emphasizing mentorship and strategic partnerships. “We believe in the dreams of our youth and want them to soar,” she declared passionately.
