DreamPulse Media has officially announced the launch of the DreamPulse Tech Awards, a groundbreaking platform created to recognize and celebrate Africa’s brightest innovators.

The awards were inspired by the journey of Bolaji Smith, a young entrepreneur who founded DigiPhonix Limited from his family home but, like many African innovators, struggled to receive recognition. His story moved his brother, Akin Smith, to create a platform that shines a spotlight on the “hidden Bolajis” across the continent.

“We realised there are thousands of Bolajis across Africa brilliant minds building and solving real problems without the spotlight they deserve,” said Akin Smith, Founder of DreamPulse Media.

The DreamPulse Tech Awards will spotlight emerging innovators in FaithTech, AgriTech, and TransportTech, sectors often overlooked but critical to Africa’s growth. Selection criteria will focus on innovation, impact, scalability, and execution.

Looking ahead, DreamPulse Media plans to scale the awards into Africa’s leading innovation platform, with regional showcases, mentorship hubs, and global exposure opportunities for winners within the next five years.
