In response to revelations surrounding financial transactions within the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in recent years, Senator Shehu Sani has directed criticism at former President Muhammadu Buhari, highlighting the scale of corruption purportedly present within the CBN during his time in office.

Sani lamented the perceived lack of transparency and integrity within the CBN, labeling it as the most nontransparent and deceitful government institution during the Buhari administration.

Furthermore, Shehu Sani pointed out that the alleged fraudulent activities occurred under the leadership of President Buhari himself, a leader who has historically accused his predecessors of engaging in widespread financial malpractice.
