Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has reiterated his appeal to President Bola Tinubu to take urgent action in alleviating the economic hardships faced by Nigerians.

In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele emphasized the escalating severity of the economic situation and urged Tinubu to prioritize finding solutions.

The prophet warned that failure to address the economic challenges promptly could lead to widespread protests, highlighting the growing hunger among the populace. He pointed out that salary earners are struggling to make ends meet with their current incomes.

Primate Ayodele urged President Tinubu not to wait until public discontent escalates to the point of physical confrontation before taking decisive action. He stated, “If Tinubu doesn’t get to work immediately and find a way to solve our economic issues, there will be massive protests. The people are crying already, salary earners are not satisfied, and it will get to a state where governors will not be able to pay salaries again.”

He further cautioned against delaying necessary actions, advising the president to address the pressing economic challenges before they escalate further. Primate Ayodele emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, “Don’t wait till they start stoning you and every politician before working; you need to do something now; there is serious hunger in the land. It will also affect some African nations. The president should do the needful.”

Recalling his 2024 prophecies, Primate Ayodele reiterated five key solutions for President Tinubu to tackle the economic situation, including stable electricity supply, enhanced security measures, infrastructural development, agricultural advancement, and job creation.
